Operation Trick or Treat

The Westminster Police and Fire Department are joining forces to bring Trick or Treating to neighborhoods across Westminster.

On Halloween, Saturday October 31, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. members of the police and fire departments will be delivering candy to  preregistered elementary school aged residents and younger.  We will be separating the town into three precincts and will notify the registered trick or treaters on which hour time block we will be visiting their neighborhoods.

Deadline for registering is Monday, October 26th, 2020

How to donate candy: Donations may be brought or sent to Westminster Public safety building and candy can be shipped via Amazon to Westminster Public Safety Building at 7 South Street, Westminster, MA 01473.

Westminster Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring a yard/business decorating contest for all preregistered town residents and businesses. The top three decorated properties will receive a small prize and of-course bragging rights.

Deadline for registering is Monday, October 26th, 2020

With current CDC guidelines not recommending traditional trick or treat, we are not going to be having a bonfire or shutting down streets throughout Westminster.  Though, Westminster Police, Fire and Parks and Recreation wanted to help provide a safer alternative.
