Narrows Road Bridge Reconstruction and Intersection Improvements

Work crews have begun the final phases of the Narrows Road Bridge reconstruction and intersection improvements. Planned road work, bridge rehabilitation and intersection improvements at East Road and Narrows Road is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7:00AM to 4:00PM.  We ask that the traveling public use caution while traveling through this area and to seek an alternate route if possible as there could be delays and short-term road closures. Additionally, the bridge and the Narrows/East Roads intersection is tentatively scheduled to be closed from April 14, 2022 to April 22, 2022 for final grading and paving operations.  A detour will be in place during this time to aid the flow of traffic while the work is underway.
