Paving Projects Scheduled for June 16, 2021, and June 17, 2021

Construction activities will take place this week on Wednesday and Thursday, between the hours of 7:00AM and 4:00PM. Please plan ahead for travel and expect delays in the area.

Scheduled Road Construction

This week (6/14/2021), the following paving projects are scheduled to take place on Bathrick Road and Bean Porridge Hill Road. Work is scheduled to take place between 7:00AM and 4:00PM on both days. 

  • Paving work on Bathrick Road (Town Farm Road to Newcomb Road) will begin on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Construction activities are anticipated to last one day. During construction, Bathrick Road will be closed with traffic control by police detail officers. The road will remain open to local traffic. 
     
  • Paving work on Bean Porridge Hill Road (approx. house #16 to #124) will begin on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Construction activities are anticipated to last one day with traffic control by police detail officers. 

During construction, delays are to be expected as well as rough road surfaces and raised structures. All motorists - and motorcyclists, especially - are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone. To reduce traffic impacts as much as possible, it is encouraged that the public seek alternate routes and expect potential road closures to facilitate efficient work. The paving process is dependent on good weather, and no equipment breakdowns. However, this type of work can be susceptible to the weather, unexpected equipment failures, and unforeseen site conditions.
