Public Forum on Regulating Recreational Marijuana

Westminster residents are invited to participate in a public forum at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss local options for regulating the growing, cultivation, distribution, processing, and retail sale of recreational marijuana. The Town has a number of options to consider. We could:
- pass a bylaw to totally ban all marijuana establishments
- allow everything but retail sales establishments
- allow retail sales establishments, but restrict the number of retailers
- allow all aspects of growing and selling recreational marijuana within the framework of state and local regulations.
