Rip-Rap Installation Scheduled for Monday September 16, 2019 on Whitney Street

On Monday, September 16, 2019, the Westminster Highway Department is anticipated to begin installing rip-rap along the slopes of the causeway on Whitney Street. Due to the use of one-way alternating traffic to facilitate the work, delays are expected. The work will take place between the hours of 7:00AM - 3:00PM. To reduce impacts as much as possible, it is encouraged that motorists and pedestrians seek alternate routes and expect traffic delays as well as potential temporary road closures.
