Roadway Paving Operations Scheduled for Wednesday April 27, 2022

The Town of Westminster and its Contractors are anticipated to begin roadway paving this week. Below is a listing of the work zones, so you can plan your commute accordingly.

Beginning at 7:00AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, paving operations are anticipated to begin on the following roads. Please plan ahead for travel and expect delays in the area(s):

  • Newton Road
  • Knower Road from Minott to the Hubbardston Town Line
  • Worcester Road
  • Leominster Street 

To reduce impacts as much as possible, it is encouraged that motorists and pedestrians seek alternate routes and expect traffic delays as well as possible road closures to facilitate efficient work. The paving process is dependent on good weather, and no equipment breakdowns. However, this type of work can be susceptible to the weather and unforseen site conditions.
