The Solid Waste Drop-off Center Waste Oil Tank is Back Online
On January 14, 2023, the Solid Waste Drop-off Center waste oil tank will be back online and operational for permit-holders looking to dispose of used oil.

In late October 2022, something other than waste oil was deposited into the oil tank at the Solid Waste Drop-off Center, resulting in a batch of non-conformal waste oil. The incident resulted in the closing of the tank for a period of time to remove and manage the liquid and clean the tank. The waste oil tank will be will be open for use again on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Please note, the waste oil tank is ONLY for used waste oil. Safe management and disposal of waste oil protects not just drinking water, fish, and land, but also you and your family.
