VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Join us for Westminster’s Bi-Annual Trail Maintenance Day!

We meet at the Crocker Pond Recreation Area

Saturday June 3, 2023 at 7:30 AM – to Noon

The trails within Hager Park and the Crocker Pond Recreation Area need some sprucing up and we need your help!

We are looking for 20 volunteers to join us for a morning of trail maintenance at these two parks. We meet at Crocker Pond at 7:30 AM for coffee and muffins before breaking up into two groups (one for Crocker Pond and one for Hager Park). We will have experienced crew leaders at both sites. After a morning of trail maintenance, we will reconvene at Crocker Pond at noon for a boxed lunch.

We are limiting participation to 20 volunteers, Westminster residents only, children over 14 are welcome if accompanied by a parent. Bring gloves and bug spray. Crocker Pond summer passes will be available at the shed in front of the parking area.

If you are interested in helping out, we ask that you contact Town Planner Tracy Murphy to pre-register and reserve your spot. You can reach Tracy at 978-874-7414 or tmurphy@westminster-ma.gov

This is the Town’s second year for volunteer trail maintenance day and we need your help to make it a success!

Thank you – the Westminster Open Space Committee
