Planning Board

What's New……

The Board of Selectmen is seeking additional public input on how the Town should zone for recreational marijuana, so any zoning changes on this topic will be dealt with at a later date. To learn more about the options under consideration, please click on the "Zoning Options for Recreational Marijuana" from the menu on the left.

In the meantime, the Planning Board is proposing two minor amendments to the Zoning Bylaw:

  • Revising the Zoning Bylaw's definition for Medical Marijuana Treatment Center/Registered Marijuana Dispensaries to reflect recent changes to State law.
  • Rezoning the Aubuchon warehouse parcel from Commercial-I to Industrial-I.

You can find the text of the proposed zoning changes here.

With the second phase of the Zoning Bylaw overhaul project complete, the Planning Board will now focus on the third and last phase, which is revising the signage provisions within the Zoning Bylaw. The Board will spend the bulk of 2018 on this effort.
