Pending Development Applications

Below are projects currently going through the approval process before the Planning Board:

5 E Main St.: Stormwater, Site Plan, and Special Permit applications submitted by Eric Callahan of 8 East Gardner Rd., Westminster to construct a 9,000 sq. ft. mixed use building at 5 East Main St. The property is owned by the applicant, is also known as Assessors map Map 111 parcel 23, and is located in the Commercial I district. The proposed site plan can be found below. Hearing has been continued to 12/12/23, 1/9/24. Due to adverse weather conditions, this hearing was continued to January 23, 2024, March 12, 2024, March 19, 2024 to April 9, 2024, April 16, 2024 at 7pm in room 205 at the Westminster Town Hall. The Applicant has requested the hearing be continued to May 14, 2024 at 7pm. 

84 Fitchburg Rd: Site Plan & Stormwater applications submitted by Snow Hill Development LLC of 198 Narrows Road, Westminster to construct a storage pod facility at 84 Fitchburg Road. The property is owned by the applicant, is also known as Assessors Map 115 parcel 4, and is located in the Industrial II district. This hearing has been continued to May 14, 2024 at 7pm. 

Knower Road: The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at 7:00 PM in room 205 at the Westminster Town Hall, 11 South Street, to discuss the Stormwater Management Permit application submitted by Barkley Enterprises, LLC for nine (9) separate new house lots that will disturb approximately 19 acres of land at Knower Rd. The subject parcels of land are located on Map 134, Lot 13 & 14 in a Residential-II zoning district. A copy of the plan is available for public review at the Westminster Planning Department, 11 South St. during normal office hours.
