Memorial Day Parade

Parade Schedule - Monday, May 30th

Parade assembly will begin at 11:00 AM at Lovell St. The parade will commence at 11:30 and will feature Veterans organizations and Auxiliaries as well as
Town organizations and bands.

A chicken BBQ will be served at the VFW from 12:30 - 2:00 PM at a cost of $13.00 per person.

The Memorial Day exercises  will begin at 8:00 AM with Veterans and Auxiliaries assembling at the VFW Hall on Eaton St. to visit the various cemeteries for services. Transportation will be furnished.  Either uniforms or civilian dress is acceptable. Participants will leave the VFW promptly at 8:30 and proceed as follows:
Whitmanville Cemetery          8:45

WWI Monument                     9:30
Civil War Monument              9:40
Spanish War Monument        9:45
VFW Veterans Monument     9:50

There will be applications at the VFW for those who wish to purchase a brick to honor a veteran who served their country. These bricks will be placed as a walkway leading up to the VFW Monument.
