Nichols Road & Ellis Road Work Scheduled to Begin Monday, April 29, 2024

The scheduled roadway improvement work is anticipated to last from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane in the area while this work is underway.

Nichols Road work notice

The Westminster Department of Public Works is scheduled to begin working on Nichols Road and a portion of Ellis Road (Nichols Road to the Westminster Country Club) beginning on Monday, April 29, 2024 – Friday, May 3, 2024. The scheduled roadway improvement work is anticipated to last from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane in the area while this work is underway.

To reduce impacts as much as possible, it is encouraged that motorists seek alternate routes and expect brief traffic delays to facilitate efficient work and follow posted detour signage and instructions from the Police Detail Officers that will be present. Please be aware that roadway travel may be detoured off the pavement in certain locations and caution should be used while traveling through this area.
