Roadway Paving Operations Scheduled to Continue on Monday, May 2, 2022

On Monday, May 2, 2022, the Town’s Contractor is scheduled to continue roadway paving operations on Worcester Road and Leominster Street. The duration of this work is anticipated to take place over two days, Monday and Tuesday (5-2-2022 – 5-3-2022), between the hours of 7:30AM and 3:30PM. Leominster Street will only receive a single leveling course and the final surface paving will be finished at a later date. This is to shape the surface for drainage and improve the integrity of the roadway.

To reduce impacts as much as possible, it is encouraged that motorists and pedestrians seek alternate routes and expect traffic delays as well as possible road closures to facilitate efficient work. We understand the scheduled roadwork will create a short disruption to the traveling public, but will provide a safer and better road for us all. Please keep in mind that unexpected complications with weather and equipment may delay the work schedule.
