South Street Road Closure – October 9, 2020

The Westminster Highway Department will close South Street on Friday, October 9, 2020, from 9:00AM until 12:00PM, to facilitate the completion of roadway improvements. A detour will be in place during this time to aid the flow of traffic during construction activities. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for travel and seek alternate routes. 

The portion of South Street encompassed by the closure extends from the Hubbardston, MA town-line to the intersection at Harrington Road and Minott Road. To reduce traffic impacts as much as possible, the Highway Department would like to advise the public to seek alternate routes to enable efficient work and expect delays in the area. Please follow the posted detour signage and instructions from the Police Detail Officers that will be present.
