Water Repair Work – Temporary Disruption of Service in the Area of 22 State Road East & Old Town Farm Road

The Westminster Department of Public Works is scheduled to replace a hydrant in the area of 22 State Road East in addition to removing a gate valve on Old Town Farm Road on July 12, 2023, beginning at 8:00 AM. 

Water service will be temporarily shut down during this time to allow crews to make the repairs and return water service as soon as possible. The duration of the interruption of service is expected to last for 4-6 hours, however it may depend on the conditions encountered.

The following areas may experience service disruption or other impacts:

• 164 Bathrick Road
• Merriam Road
• Old Town Farm Road
• 22 to 36 State Road East
• 20 Town Farm Road

Once the work has been performed, your water service will be restored. Please note that the water may contain air or be discolored after the water service is restored but should clear up after running the cold water tap for a short period of time.
