Westminster's Draft Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is Available for Public Review!

Please review the June 2021 (Draft) Westminster Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The purpose of this document is to recognize critical municipal facilities, address the various natural hazards that may impact those facilities, and to consider potential projects and ideas to mitigate the impact of these hazards on the facilities.

This is the draft that will be finalized and submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). Once the plan is approved, we will become eligible for various funding to assist our mitigation efforts.
