Vital Records (Birth, Death & Marriage Information)

OVERVIEW

The Town Clerk serves as the Registrar of Vital Records and Statistics for the Town of Westminster. The Clerk maintains the records of all births, deaths, and marriages that occur in the Town of Westminster, as well as births and deaths of residents that occur in another community within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

BIRTHS

The Town Clerk's Office has birth records on file of all children whose parents resided in Westminster at the time the event occurred. whether the birth was in Westminster or any facility within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

DEATHS

The Town Clerk's Office maintains death certificates for those who actually died in Westminster. or for a resident of Westminster whose legal residency at their time of death is listed as Westminster on their death certificate. 

MARRIAGES

The Town Clerk's Office maintains marriage licenses of couples who file their "Marriage Intentions" in this office, whether they were married in Westminster or in another Massachusetts community.
