Firearms Licensing *EFFECTIVE October 2, 2024*

You can now apply for your new or renewal firearms license Online via the MIRCS Firearms Licensing Portal

Services available through the portal include:

Submit Firearms License Applications & Check Status
Residents and non-residents can apply for a new firearms license or renew an existing license. You can also check the status of your licenses and applications.

Obtain your Firearms License PIN
View your PIN directly from the MIRCS Firearms Licensing Portal for any of your active firearms licenses.

Report an Address or Name Change
Report an address or name change to the FRB for your firearms licenses. Massachusetts law requires that you report a change of address within 30 days of moving.

*Applicants must upload all supporting documentation to the portal

*Applicants must provide payment online  (CLICK HERE) or by check or money order written out to The Town of Westminster.
